Choon Lin experiments with a range of materials and media as a means to examine the relations between visual and tactile experiences.
Born in 1984, Joo Choon Lin graduated from the Glasgow School of Art, Scotland, UK, with a Masters in Fine Art.
Based in Singapore and Glasgow, she has shown her work both internationally and locally, participating in group and solo exhibitions. She has exhibited at the 4th Fukuoka Asian Art Triennale, Japan (2009), 1st Aichi Triennale, Japan (2010), Roving Eye at Sorlandets Kunstmuseum, Norway (2011), Art Stage Singapore (2011), Resolution of Reality at Third Floor Hermes Gallery, Singapore (2012), “Show #6”, The Parlour Art Gallery, Brooklyn, New York (2013), Your Eyes Are Stupid at Singapore Biennale (2013), Be Mysterious, Walter Phillips Gallery, The Banff Centre, Canada (2014) and Paradise Sans Promesse, Frac de Pays de la Loire, Nantes, France (2015), to name a few.
